Introduction:
Gotu Kola Extract is compound extracted from Gotu kola contains some triterpenes, Gotu kola is a slender, creeping plant that grows commonly in swampy areas of India, Sri Lanka, Madagascar, South Africa and the tropics. It is regarded as one of the most spiritual and rejuvenating herbs in Ayurveda and is used to improve meditation. Gotu kola has been widely used for a number of conditions, particularly in traditional Eastern health care. In Ayurveda Gotu kola is one of the chief herbs for revitalizing the nerves and brain cells. It is said to fortify the immune system, both cleansing and feeding it, and to strengthen the adrenals.

Function:
1.Centella asiatica may be useful in the treatment of anxiety.Centella is a mild adaptogen, is mildly antibacterial, antiviral, anti-inflammatory, antiulcerogenic,anxiolytic, nervine and vulnerary, and can act as a cerebral tonic, a circulatory stimulant, and adiuretic.
2.Several scientific reports have documented Centella asiatica's ability to aid wound healing which is responsible for its traditional use in leprosy. Upon treatment with Centella asiatica, maturation of the scar is stimulated by the production of type I collagen. The treatment also results in a marked decrease in inflammatory reaction and myofibroblast production.
3.The isolated steroids from the plant also have been used to treat leprosy.In addition, preliminary evidence suggests that it may have nootropic effects.
